WELCOM E Hello friends, Summer is always a special time in Colorado and it’s one of my favorite times of the year, particularly because our incredible orchestra gets the opportunity to perform in some of the state’s most iconic venues. With that in mind, we’ve put together a tremendous summer lineup complete with exciting collaborations and spectacular music, featuring a mix of classical and contemporary – there is truly something for everyone! Our 2022 Summer Season is highlighted by a return to the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre for collaborations with Lettuce & Tower of Power (July 20), Josh Groban (July 24), Father John Misty (July 31), and a symphonic celebration of Jerry Garcia’s 80th Birthday on June 29. We’ll also perform alongside R&B icons Boyz II Men at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre on July 22 and Amos Lee at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail, Colorado on August 14. You won’t want to miss us at the beautiful Dillon Outdoor Amphitheater for a special Independence Day celebration on the lake alongside Broadways star Sierra Boggess. And we’re delighted to return to the Arvada Center for performances of Mozart Under Moonlight (July 15) and a Tribute to the Boston Pops (July 29). Back in Boettcher Concert Hall, we’re thrilled to welcome Broadway legend Kristin Chenoweth on August 12 for a magical evening that is sure to delight. We’ll also screen the final installment of the Harry Potter franchise with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows™ Part 2 in Concert from July 8-10. As you can see there’s no shortage of incredible symphonic music coming your way, and we thank you for choosing to make the Colorado Symphony part of your summer plans!
