CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

Have you missed the theater? The Lakewood Cultural Center is excited to be open once again, and we are looking for performance assistant volunteers to help with front-of-house operations including ushering, ticket taking, will call and greeting positions.

Performance assistants play an integral part in theater operations. They also create a positive, welcoming experience by providing exemplary customer service for our patrons. Chances are if you’ve attended a performance at the LCC, you’ve been helped by one of our amazing volunteers.

As a performance assistant, you will be part of a fun team of volunteers who take a lot of pride in their role at the LCC. Each week you can expect something new and exciting on the stage. From dance to contemporary and classical music to theatrical productions performed by local arts organizations as well as international and national touring artists, there’s always something to look forward to. If you’re looking for ways to get involved in your community and support the arts, consider becoming a performance assistant.

Most performance assistants work one to three shifts per month. Orientation and training for new volunteers is scheduled throughout the year.
