I

would like to extend a warm summer greeting to you and invite you, your friends and family to celebrate and be a part of the various summer activities and events here at Jesus House. For God created every season; autumn, winter, spring and summer for different purposes, but I’m sure you will agree that summer has a special place in everybody’s heart. Here at Jesus House every summer we like to get together as a church with the local community to Celebrate Summer and get to know each other. This year, the summer theme is called ‘The SON-shine Summerfest’, because we want to acknowledge God’s gift of real life through His son, Jesus Christ. Without Him there would be no summer season or any other season. From the energetic football academy, a reviving musicfest, a chilled-out Movie Sunday to the highlight of the summer - Picnic in the park - and much more. There is something for everyone to enjoy. It promises to be a great time. For more detailed information about anything featured in this brochure you can visit www.jesushouse.org.uk/summerfest-zone. God Bless you.

Life Centres are a platform for spiritual growth, they follow a structured bible study plan created to help members read through the bible in one year and discuss how the Word of God can be practically applied in their lives. Life Groups are built around common interests. As with Life centres, they offer the opportunity to build relationships, members learn and grow together as they interact with one another based on shared hobbies or interests. what about prayer? Jesus House encourages all with a passion to see God’s words fulfilled to meet and pray. Most of us started out not knowing what to pray or how to pray but our desire was to see answers to various issues in life and prayer was our only solution and we are still learning from one another. We believe everyone should be involved in prayer. If you have any prayer request, or you are looking for someone to talk to, pray with or you just want to pray with others, come along to join one of the various prayer meetings. We meet to pray daily as follows: Weekday Mornings: 6:30am Weekday Evenings: 7:00pm – 9:00pm (except on Wednesdays when we meet between 6:00pm and 7:00pm) Saturday Mornings: 7:00am – 9:00am Sunday Evenings: 4:00pm – 6:00pm There are also opportunities to be involved in night vigils. We would be happy for you to join us at any of these meetings. Please ensure you let someone know if you are attending for the first time.

counselling at Jesus House We provide a counselling service at Jesus House. The service offers confidential counsel and support to anyone dealing with difficult situations or circumstances. We are aware that many people go through challenging situations and sometimes all they need is someone to offer a listening ear, a shoulder to lean on, or someone to help bring the wisdom of God into the situation. Our team of counsellors and spiritual leaders of Jesus House can help to do just that. For more information contact the church office (020 8438 8285) and ask for a counsellor.
