ROYAL DAY RAISES £1MILLION FOR CHARITY

HRH The Duchess of Cambridge supports her husband at the Out-Sourcing Inc. Royal Charity Cup at Flemish Farm at the second, successful edition of His Royal Highness’s royal polo day

HRH The Duke of Cambridge, now the Prince of Wales, took to the polo field at Flemish Farm in early July 2022 to play in the second edition of the Out-Sourcing Inc. Royal Charity Polo Cup at Guards Polo Club. The aim of the day was to raise both awareness and funds for 10 charities supported by TRH

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The event achieved all of its aims brilliantly, raising £1million for a range of charities nominated by the Royal couple.

On the field of play, on the Club’s impressive Castle Ground, the Duke played as part of the U.S. Polo Assn. team alongside Aiyawatt (Top) Srivaddhanaprabha, Amr Zedan and

England team captain James Harper. Their opposition included Monterosso/Vikings, formed by Club patrons Alessandro Bazzoni and Siri Evjemo-Nysveen and featuring Saad Audeh and Juan Martin Zubia. The third team, BP Polo, included Garvy and James Beh, Henry Porter and Oliver Fanshawe.

In an exciting round-robin format, it was the U.S. Polo Assn. team who won the match. HRH The Duchess of Cambridge presented the prizes, including the Out-Sourcing Inc. Royal Charity Cup to winning captain Amr Zedan. Her Royal Highness also presented the Best Playing Pony, sponsored by the Cox family from Oklahoma, to Siri EvjemoNysveen's Nellie.
