La Martina celebrates 2023 by opening an impressive new flagship store in the heart of Milan, known universally as the home of style and sophistication

Guards Polo Club Members and regular visitors to the Club’s biggest seasonal events will be familiar with the La Martina Store at Smith’s Lawn. A destination Store since La Martina took over the management of this unique location more than 13 years ago, it has attracted thousands of visitors and shoppers through its doors since 2009. Today, the Store continues to provide a unique retail experience in the centre of the glorious Windsor Great Park.

Best known for its now iconic Guards Polo Club Military Jacket, the La Martina Store provides not only an insight into its traditional Argentine origins, but a glimpse of the uber cool Milano fashion design world, all the while staying faithful to the sport of polo by stocking a full range of technical equipment for the polo player.

So, in early March, La Martina was delighted to welcome a high profile guestlist of partners, influencers, retailers, clients and friends, to the Grand Opening of La Martina Milan in the city centre. A night to remember, this was a celebration of style and elegance in the sophisticated atmosphere of this impressive flagship store, which also incorporates one of the most famous

Argentine restaurants in Milan: El Carnicero. Covering more than 500 square metres and bearing the signature design stamp of Italian architect and designer Fabio Novembre, this new flagship store represents La Martina’s biggest single-brand boutique in Europe. An innovative design space, with a fusion of digital and physical experiences, visitors can enjoy a unique shopping experience. This includes a selection of limited edition products; a room dedicated to the Guards Collection; a space solely showcasing polo equipment – full immersion in to the DNA of the La Martina brand and the sport of polo.

If visitors need a break from all the wonderful shopping on offer, where better to stop and rest than on a seat on the exclusive pavement café just outside the front of the store? Here you can enjoy a taste of Milanese life as you watch the trams rumble past, or take a more formal seat inside “El Bar del Polo” and enjoy a delicious range of aperitifs, lunch or dinner.
