Aries (March 20-April 19) Do you love your life enough to take initiative? Do you care enough about the world to take leadership? Are you willing to accept that responsibility? It’s not just your career that's undergoing a makeover; everything about you is, from the inside out. The external changes in your world are more about removing what you don't want to do, and what does not serve you, rather than emphasizing what does.

Taurus (April 19-May 20) You know when you've reached a limit, and you know when you've made a discovery. Both appear to be happening now. Though you are a sensory person, your ideas about yourself tend to be what guides your life. The mental process of Taurus knows no bounds, though yours has arrived at an interesting place, and may have come to a pause. There is an unavoidable fact of your life, which is that your decisions set an example for others.

Gemini (May 20-June 21) Beliefs can serve as a gatekeeper for potential. We see over and over again how people are trapped within unproven notions, usually involving what is impossible. As has been pointed out before, everything we see and experience in the manifest world was, at some time in the past, never going to happen. Then someone believed it could, and set about doing it. This both removed the obstacle of “impossible” and allowed in a little enthusiasm about what might have a place in the world.

Cancer (June 21-July 22) Truth is not a matter of opinion. It's a matter of discovery, and this is rarely an easy or straightforward process. If you think you know something, but that knowledge was gained effortlessly, you are probably deceived. If you find yourself confronted with uncomfortable truths that you must grapple with, and with questions that have no easy answers, you are scaling the mountain of existence. Your leadership and example are specifically about being different, rather than attempting to conform.

Leo (July 22-Aug. 23) If others seem closed minded or stubborn about something they claim to know, ask them to present their facts. Whether you like it or not is irrelevant; far too much emphasis is placed on the notion of "agreement." Do the ideas stand up to scrutiny? You want enough examples so that you can piece together the thought process that led to a particular conclusion.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22) Faith is never harsh. It's not supposed to be about judgments, nor about morality. Ultimately, faith is a matter of liberation from worldly limits and beliefs. It’s also about a measure of freedom from making sure that every last thing turns out right. We are all carrying a heavier than usual burden right now, as worldly systems seem to strain under their own weight.

Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23) Most people don't know they are trapped in karma that is not of their own making. It's as if everyone who is born brings all of the unfinished business of the human race into their own life. Such a case could indeed be made from a genetic or hereditary standpoint, or from one centered in the therapy room. You have, however, been burning karma for years, and you are now in a kind of last stage of a process that goes back to around 2008.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) You may be trying to make decisions, only to find that they are making you. This has been one of our great challenges on the road to personhood and maturity, and it’s come up in spades twice in recent years: once in early 2020, and again right now. Among the topics of inner debate are the supposed meaning of when you make choices different from those of the people around you. You recognize that while the old ways have their value, they are not equally useful all the time.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 22) Powerful forces are conditioning you to rethink the way you think. This will come with a combination of figuring out you were wrong about some things, right about other things, and more curious than you thought you were about other things. Why the confusion? You tend to be more driven by your emotions than by cognition. This, masked over by the fact of having an extremely busy mind, yet typically, you surf on water, rather than on air or fire. You are now being called to make a decision using your mind.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20) The changes you are going through now are the result of work you've done over a long period of time. You’re finally catching up with yourself. Yet those who have not done the work may be feeling like something is being taken away from them. While I was writing Wednesday morning, an email came in from a close Capricorn friend, who began by quoting me: "When this process fully engages, it will go quickly. It is important that you not delay based on hesitation for its own sake; one way or the other, you will be taken across the threshold.”

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) How do you determine that something you knew previously is incorrect? And when you discover that, what do you do? Being a thoughtful person is not so stylish these days. In fact, it’s never been more chic to pretend you know absolutely nothing and cannot possibly rub two brain cells together, much less get a little spark. While some have figured out and indeed thrive on the deceptive power of playing dumb, this not only contradicts your long-held selfimage, it’s entirely asinine.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) There are a lot of possibilities. They are pretty much all open to you, though your emotional state is what unlocks any potential that is accessible to you. You will not notice what is right in front of you, if you’re not tuned to that vibration. Therefore, you would be wise to organize your life around being relaxed, alert, and in a creative state of being. (One exercise I’m experimenting with is sitting down on the couch and picking up a guitar for a few minutes, before I sit down at my desk.)
