u d c o t r i o t n In Thank you for taking the time to buy and read my book. My name is Ross Hamilton and I'm bringing you recipes that are created by a student, for students (or anyone else daring enough to try something unusual). Whilst at university I was working with a tight budget and minimal equipment, and therefore decided to record all the strange combinations of food I came up with throughout the years. My love of Doritos combined with my weird imagination have led me to my "internet fame". I struggled with other student cookbooks as I felt that they expected me to have a large amount of kitchen equipment and cooking skill and therefore I often just came up with my own recipes. Just Add Doritos is ďŹ lled with different recipes, university advice and games. You'd think with a title like this that the cookbook was made by the Dorito company however the title just originated from my tendency for adding Doritos to every meal in order to add more avour, and because I love Doritos. Not every recipe includes Doritos though and feel free to take the Doritos out of the recipe, as obviously not everyone will share the same obsession as me. I have been given the opportunity to create this book after creating an instagram account dedicated to the strange concoctions I made, which ended up getting a large following. After gaining this original following I decided to create a YouTube channel and food blog, both also titled 'Just Add Doritos'. Inside this book I have combined what I believe to be the best recipes and advice featured on them both.

This book is aimed at students and therefore is made with an understanding of what it is like to cook in a student kitchen where you have minimal storage space for your food and often with minimal equipment. There are also vegan and vegetarian options as I know many students are one or the other, or at least try to be sometimes (I lasted 36 hours as a vegan). I personally started university with 1 plate, 1 saucepan, 1 baking tray and a single piece of each cutlery Some utensils that I'd recommend, aside from the obvious (plate, cutlery, bowl) are a small baking dish, a small frying pan, a saucepan, potato peeler, cheese grater, and tinfoil. It's important to buy most of your utensils in a small size as most of the time you will just be cooking for yourself and therefore it will make it easier to make single portions, (and you'll have no pressure on you to share your creations).

For this game you will need:

How to play:

-

- First you need to place cards in 3 rings; a large outer ring, medium ring inside that, and then a small ring in the middle, so it looks like a target - Each player takes in turns to pick 1 card, starting with the outside ring - If the card is black then the player that chose the card has to drink the amount of sips as the number on the card (a jack equals 11 sips, a queen equals 12 sips, a king equals 13 sips, and an ace equals 14) - If the card is red then the player that chose it gives out the sips to the other players - When all the cards on the outer ring have been chosen you move to the next ring, in which the numbers on the cards are doubled - Then when all the cards in that ring have been chosen you move to the ďŹ nal inside ring where all the numbers on the cards are tripled

Drink of your choice Pack of cards At least 3 people Basic math skills

Suggested 7cocktail7 for this game: Squashka Squashkais a mixture of vodka, water and any cordial. It's a cheaper, fairly healthy, way to drink, and a way to make sure you feel like you are staying hydrated whilst drinking.
