The design concept for ‘Architects studio project’ corresponds to research and analysis on Junya Ishigami works. Besides exploring design solution that could match both concept -Blend the nature in and blur the boundary between inside and outside- with programs, Executing the idea through section model was also challenging and enjoyable.

This project is the last one that we could visit the site before the pandemic has occured ,Site visiting actu ¼¼û § ¼Ö  ¼Êä äÊ Ćà ideas and concept, walking around ,seeing how people live and talking to people in the community. The concept for Kohsanchao community library, Human-Water relationship , is the perfect combination between context and people. Moreover ,for me development from idea to design was really fun.

Working on Bangkok Exploratorium project, Explore/Experiment /Experience are not only what users of this building would recieve when came in this science museum, but also what I recieve during the research and design process. This project is the best one that I could truly combine the theory with the design. Although, the Ćà ¼ ÖÙÊ é äªÊà ªÝ Ý䪼¼ ¡ Ù from complete architecture, Breaking the rules and Experiment deeper with the idea was great.

Due to several type of programs, In this project I tried to focus on seperating serve and service areas and circulation. Because the site area is not that tight, landscape design and parking design are challenging issues. The reason that I put this project in ‘spotlight on’ catagory is actually that during the design process , I could manage time and my expectation very well.

Private-owned public space is the interesting issue for me .Every commercial district in Bangkok contains people from several social class ,to embrace the diversity and to reduce social inequality gap, applying ‘soi’ or alley to the design as architectural space for commercial and interaction space. ‘Neighbourhood space’ Ý Ùô Ý Êä§ Ê¡Ć õÊÙ¹ ÙÝ and local people and also motivates localization together with globalization.

AWARD THE DAWN CIVIC CENTER
THE IDEA
Crisscrossed with a number of canals, Bangkok was once known as a semi-aquatic city. Back to the glory days for Bangkok’s canals, they were a vital part of citizens' everyday life. Not only did the canals serve as the main means of transportation within the city, they were also deeply connected with Thai traditions and beliefs. é äÊ $¼Ê ¼ªĀ äªÊÃĭ Ù äÙ ¡Ć § Ý played a key role in urban development. In favor of road construction, lots of water routes have been paved over until they have completely disappeared. In other words, the Bangkok metropolitan has been transformed into a land city.
Being disrupted by road construction, the canals networks can no longer serve Ý Ã¢¹Ê¹ĶÝ ćÊÊ ÊÃäÙʼIJ ô à ÝÊ canals do survive, they have been treated like Bangkok's back of house where garbage and wastewater are dumped into. This resulted in a water crisis, namely ćÊÊ Ã õ ä Ù Öʼ¼éäªÊÃIJ aÊ ª¼¼éÝäÙ ä ĭ â¹Ê¹ ćÊÊ Ý ¼õ ûÝ Ê éÙ é٪â à after heavy rain. Nowadays, it's no exaggeration to say that Bangkok's water problem has become Bangkokians' nightmare.
Civic center activity space provides a chance for every generation to gather around and share their diverse interests including performance, music, and public issues. People from each generation can exchange their opinions and information which consequently help reduce the generation gap. To illustrate, the younger generation can watch the traditional Thai-Chinese opera while the older generation enjoy cover dance performances.
Considering this deep-rooted problem, the Civic center aims to represent the possibility of living with water in the modern context as well as create public space for every generation. In the design process, the building was shaped into a slope that sunk into the ground so that it will not obscure the scenery of cultural buildings and government buildªÃ¢ÝIJ ,Ãä ÙªÊÙ ÝÖ õ Ý ÝªÂÖ¼ªĆ ¡ÙÊ ‘thai waterfront pavilion’,of which features are shaded space, natural ventilated space, and the space that contain cultural social activities.
Moreover, The project can alleviate urban water problems both in short term and long term, by serving as a temporary ä ÃäªÊà ÖÊà é٪â ä§ Ý ÝÊà ¼ ćÊÊ situation, and occasionally as a mitigation Ãä Ù é٪â ä§ ćÊÊ ÙªÝªÝ Ýªäé äªÊÃIJ #ÊÙ the long-term policy, the Civic center project came up with the policy requirement that will urge the government to develop the canal in several districts and eliminate the nightmare of Bangkok's modern lifestyle.

Redtate, 1x1x1 meter model ,was a group project that we got to explore possibilities of materials and structural tectonics while designing. Since glue was not allowed to construct the model, we designed the joint with metal that wrapped the timber pieces together. I got a lot of fun in this project, not only because we could make the experiment with materials size and weight, but also the team work was great

)ÊéÝ BHIJČ ĭÂû ĆÙÝä §ÊéÝ Ýª¢Ã project, is the house of a father and his daughter.Located near Yaowarat district in Bangkok, I decided to use the axis from Lengneiyi Temple - year of tiger’s Temple -related to the daughter’s birth year to rotate the private zone of the house. The whole process was done by hand so I learned pretty much about scales both in drawing and model. Moreover, natural ventilation system, zoning arrangement of public/private, and proportion are things I learned from the design process of this project.

Started from the owner, who are architecture photographers, the concept is ‘Focus’ in the meaning of the center of ªÃä Ù Ýä ÊÙ äªôªäû à ¼ÝÊ ä§ ĆêäªÊà in photographic-act when pressing the shutter button. I chosed courtyard as the heart of this house as focal point and helped owners to stay focus in their everyday life while walking slowly around the zen garden courtyard. Allowed nature to come in by the slope roof which brings in sun light and rain.

CHAIRS DESIGN FOR ARCHITECTS STUDIO PROJECT
Y2-S2

During the Architect studio Project , I remember I got a lot of fun designing chairs according to the concept and the style of the architects studio that I chose, who was Junya Ishigami . After researched and analyzed Ishigami’sworks I came up with the idea of surrealism / lightweight / invisible / and focus on the landscape. I design two chairs, The left one’s concept is blending with landscape and surrealism ÝÊ , éÝ Ù ć ä Ùûª éä ªÃ ä§ ¡ÊÙ of water. The right one’s idea is the lightweight and invisible look, the only thing that prominent is chair-shape

More than aesthetic of the design, in this project , the design should be affordable for target group as well as salable for apartment owner. a§ ª¡Ć é¼äû Ê¡ ä§ªÝ ÖÙʶ ä õ Ý ä§ limited site area combined with limited height following the laws. There was no clear concept in this project , but the main concern were on natural ventilation and post pandemic design due to the current situation at that time. After the design process , moving to construction drawing part, I realised how important that the architectural design should be made with layer of building system / sanitary system.
