On March 19th, the 9th annual Hands Against Racism event will finish in Surrey. Started under the leadership of Shushma Datt and Gurpreet Singh of Spice Radio. According to Datt and Singh, the two month long campaign continues to grow and has attracted wide support across the Lower Mainland. The campaign was launched on the birthdate of the late civil rights movement leader, Martin Luther King Jr.

On March 25th, at Indigo Bookstore in Langley, Paul Sidhu, author of Broken Turban, will present for a book signing from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm.
