Of late, Kirti Kulhari was seen in a number of web shows. The actress who won the limelight after her role in Uri: The Surgical Strike took a plunge in to the OTT space and did series like Human, Criminal Justice: Behind Closed Doors, Four More Shots Please! While they did win her praises from the audience the actress tells us she wants to focus more on feature films now. She says, “I want to take a break from doing web shows. I have done a lot of series and now I want to focus more on feature films.” Sharing her reasons, she says, “Series are very exhaustive. Shooting for one web series feels like shooting for 3-4 films together. Honestly, feature films are my most favourite medium. I love telling stories through feature films.” She adds, “In the last three-four years I have managed to do some of the best work on OTT. My web shows made a mark in such a strong way that I feel that I don’t need to keep on doing this again and again. I can always comeback to it. But for now, feature films on OTT or theatrical releases are my first love which I would like to do.” Kirti will soon be seen in Nayeka, a film that she produced and also in Khichdi 2. The actress had made her Bollywood debut with Khichdi: The Movie in 2010 and now is really looking forward to the release of this film, which brings her back to the comedy genre.
