Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot
he Morgan's Bay range of wines is inspired by the remoteness of our great country and beauty of our ocean frontage. Crafted to offer approachable wines with an abundance of flavours that combine well with a wide range of food styles and enhance any occasion. Traditional blending partners Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot were selected because of their flexibility with food. Cabernet Sauvignon provides up-front dark berry fruit flavour and cassis, with lingering soft tannins on the finish providing structure and support. Fleshy Merlot fills out the midpalate while oak maturation adds subtle, integrated oak influence.

Vintage Conditions Fruit for Morgan's Bay was sourced from the company's own vineyards and selected growers across South Eastern Australia. Following harvesting, vineyard parcels were kept separate throughout the winemaking process. The grapes were fermented on skins to slowly extract colour, flavour and tannins. The wine was then matured with oak before the winemaker selected the most appropriate parcels for blending and bottling.
Maturation This wine was matured with French and American oak.

Colour Crimson with ruby hues. Nose This wine displays attractive spice, mint and berry fruits on the nose with subtle underlying oak. Shiraz Cabernet

Traditional Australian blending partners Shiraz and Cabernet were selected because of their flexibility with food. Shiraz provides up-front spice and plum fruit flavour while Cabernet provides cassis, with lingering soft tannins on the finish providing structure and support. Oak maturation adds subtle, integrated influence.

Nose Spice and dark berry aromas are supported by a touch of subtle oak. Palate Rich and mouthfilling with the right structure for food, Morgan's Bay Shiraz Cabernet delivers pepper and blueberry fruit from the Shiraz component. Cabernet provides bramble notes and gentle tannins that create structure and length on the palate.

Semillon Sauvignon Blanc
he Morgan's Bay range of wines is inspired by the remoteness of our great country and beauty of our ocean frontage. Crafted to offer approachable wines with an abundance of flavours that combine well with a wide range of food styles and enhance any occasion. Traditional blending partners Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc were selected because of their flexibility with food. Semillon provides palate weight, citrus flavours and savoury cut grass aromas while Sauvignon Blanc provides up-front tropical notes of passionfruit and kiwifruit. Together these two varieties provide a seamless wine from start to finish - perfect with seafood and salad dishes.

Nose Lifted tropical and citrus fruit aromas are evident with subtle herbaceous notes. Palate The fresh, lively palate displays tropical fruit flavours and cleansing citrus notes on a crisp, palate cleansing finish.

Palate The palate shows vibrant fruit flavours with supporting oak and a refreshing crisp finish.

Crafted to offer approachable wines with an abundance of flavours that combine well with a wide range of food styles and enhance any occasion. Sauvignon Blanc delivers easily recognised tropical fruit flavours of passionfruit and kiwifruit, with subtle herbaceous notes for added complexity. It's ripe flavous make it easy to enjoy by itself but can be partnered with fresh fruit salads or more traditional salads. It can also be enjoyed with fresh seafood and subtle Asian flavours.

Nose The bouquet shows typical fresh, floral, herbaceous and grassy Sauvignon Blanc fruit characters with a touch of the tropics. Palate Light to medium bodied with passionfruit, grassy and tropical fruit flavours on the palate. The finish is long and elegant with crisp acidity and good length.

Palate The palate shows Pink Lady apple and green melon flavours with a rich and creamy mouth feel. Soft and flavoursome, it has a refreshing, crisp citrus finish.
