Thank you for being our customers. We are thrilled to be entering our twentieth year in business. Can you believe it? The journey has been a very enjoyable one and we want to thank you for sharing it with us. Through the years we have seen many changes in the quilting community and lately there are more changes than ever. There is a new type of quilter on the scene. She calls herself a modern quilter and she brings a young, fresh energy and approach with clean designs, simple lines and interesting fabrics that speak for themselves.

We have an Artist in the House These two fabrics celebrate Cezanne, Cassatt, Renoir, Gauguin, Degas, Monet and Van Gogh. One fabric features their artwork in a collage. The other fabric features eight separate paintings, from 8" to 10" high, on a black background; three are shown here. Machine Quilting FUNdamentals Workshop The key to free motion quilting is stitching in any direction smoothly and with control. The Pine Needle is committed to making quilts for the CARES Northwest program at Emanuel Hospital in Portland. Abused and neglected children in this program are in need of comforting quilts as they go through the exams and evaluation process. Payment is required to hold your space in any class or workshop. Once enrolled, you’ll receive 10% off class supplies, plus membership in our Very Important Birthdays Club. Cancel at least five days before class begins to receive a refund. If we must cancel a class, you’ll be notified and fully refunded. You’ll also be enrolled in our Learn & Earn Club, entitling you to a free class of your choice after completing eight classes.

You'll get lots of high quality fabrics to complete the top, borders and binding for your project, plus clear instructions. Receive 15% off your backing fabric when you order your kit and backing at the same time.

Substitutions

Sometimes we must substitute fabrics in our kits and fabric selections. Alternate fabrics are selected carefully to maintain the look of the quilt.
