ever scrape off your nail polish! You can damage your nails surface to become rough as you are essentially stripping away the top layer of your nails.

Hair

our hair is exposed to lots of harsh elements, so why not treat it to a quick, fresh homemade hair mask? Mix 2 tbsps. of honey with 2 tbsps. of cinnamon powder and enough olive oil till you get a paste. Rub that paste onto your scalp and leave for 15 minutes. Rinse off with water and then use shampoo till it is gone and reveals soft and shiny hair.

Doing a manicure at home? To make sure you don’t ruin your nails we suggest you put on a coat base nail polish. Ideally one with nutrients that can help to rejuvenate your nails and is breathable. Put down that “hydrating” nail polish and pick up a glass or two of water. If you want to hydrate your nails, you need to drink plenty of fluids. This is the best way to keep your nails hydrated and in the best condition and the same applies to your hair!

Look out for Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5) in hair products as it prevents hair from greying, restores natural colour but more importantly, it has moisturising and antiinflammatory properties.

ooking for a hydrating face mask? Buy one that contains Glycerin (which helps skin attract and retain moisture) and Hyaluronic Acid (found naturally within the skin and it supports moisture retention, leaving your skin looking plump with the hydration sealed into it). Your outer appearance suffers if you don’t look after yourself inside. Drink plenty of water to keep your body hydrated and make sure you get plenty of rest. Both will give your skin a head start in looking and feeling refreshed.

Expert Advice! Did you know vitamin C increases collagen production, giving us younglooking radiant skin? It’s perfect to combat skin that looks peaky or pale! Make sure vitamin C is an ingredient in your skincare regime but also in your diet. You can find vitamin C in foods such as oranges, lychees, broccoli, brussels sprouts, red and green peppers, kiwifruit, guava etc. 4
