When you think of Halloween breakfast ideas, we’re sure pumpkin pancakes come to mind. BUT did you ever think about making them into little spider web masterpieces? We sure did! Keep reading to see how we did it!



Spider Web Pancakes Prep Time

1 c. whole wheat our 1/2 c. gluten free oats 1 pinch salt 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice 2 Tbsp. coconut sugar 1 tsp. baking soda 1+ 1/2 c. coconut milk 1 egg 1/2 c. white chocolate chips 3 Tbsp. coconut oil 6 blackberries optional - black food dye optional - 12 candy google eyes

1. Measure the our, oats, salt, pumpkin pie spice, coconut sugar, and baking soda into a bowl. Whisk together with a fork. 2. Add the coconut milk and egg and stir well until combined. Heat a large pan or skillet over medium heat. Spray with coconut oil. 3. With a 1/4 cup measuring cup, pour the batter onto the hot pan. When bubbles form all over and the edges look dry, ip. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes on the other side. 4. As the pancakes cook, melt the chocolate and coconut oil in the microwave. When the pancakes are cooked, arrange into 4-6 stacks. 5. Pour almost all of the chocolate into a plastic bag with a hole poked in the corner. Pipe the webs onto each pancake. 6. Take the blackberries and place in a portion of the web. Using the white chocolate as glue, adhere the candy eyes if desired. If you want to give your spider legs, add a bit of black food dye to the remaining chocolate and pipe them on with a separate plastic bag. Spooky!
