As we emerge from a historic year, we are all able to take a step back to appreciate our resilient community as the masks come off and many old and new faces appear. Through the curveballs and rollercoaster corkscrews of 2020, we managed to all grow a little closer from six feet apart: leaning into one another for support and helping our neighbors, both households and businesses, stay healthy. Because of this, we’ll welcome back many events we missed dearly over the past 15 months. The Farmers Market is in full swing bringing together Montana made goods, delicious food, and local artists for fun evenings every Wednesday night through August. Music in the Mountains will have us all dancing again in the same Town Center location on Thursday nights but with a new look as the Base, Big Sky’s new recreation center, nears completion. Local trails are dry and ready for exploration and Yellowstone National Park is only an hour’s drive away. Big Sky’s PBR will kick off Wednesday, July 14th and will offer not only bull riding but auctions, a golf tournament, bingo night, and more! To say we are excited for what this summer holds would be an understatement. As many already know, the real estate market has and continues to be many degrees above hot! Having more elbow room and access to some of the most beautiful landscapes in the country piqued the interest of many buyers both near and far. We saw sales prices soar and inventory wane as those looking for a work/life balance discovered what Big Sky, and the surrounding areas, had to offer.
