Training and Equipping
Reaching Children Worldwide Child Evangelism Fellowship is the world’s largest mission agency ministering to children. Around eight million boys and girls are reached with the Gospel each year, and the number continues to grow. Children who receive Jesus Christ as Saviour are discipled in the Christian faith. Our founder, Jesse Irvin Overholtzer, began the work in Chicago, Illinois in 1937 after God convicted him of the great need to reach children for Christ. The ministry has since spread to over 155 countries. CEF work began in Canada in 1938. Today Canadian missionaries serve across the country and around the world.
