Discharge The discharge process involves several activities and departments. Your nurse will assist you in the discharge process. An approval from your treating consultant is required to start the discharge process. Normally the discharge takes place after the period specified in the package. However, actual condition and rate of recovery of the patient may hasten or delay the actual date of discharge. On the day of the discharge, you are requested to clear all the dues in the Admission and Billing department. Your nurse will hand over and explain the discharge summary to you as soon as you are ready to leave. She will also explain about the medication you need to continue and any follow-up visits if required. Before your discharge, the dietician will give you advice on your nutritional needs. The physiotherapist will also advise you about the exercise routine that you should observe (if required).
Feedback Pushpanjali is keenly interested in sharing your experiences as a patient at our hospital. Please complete the discharge feedback form that would be given to you at the time of discharge. We request that you share with us the things that we have done well and the things that need improvement. Your feedback, suggestions and comments will help the hospital and its staff to serve patients better. If your child is a patient, please reply for him or her.
