ABOUTUS
Putco Inc. is a family owned, 50-year-old designer, distributor, and manufacturer of high quality automotive and truck accessories. We are known throughout several industries for our leadership in innovation and capability to bring our groundbreaking products to life. When working with clients and suppliers, Putco actively seeks to bring our unique culture and values to all business dealings. This ensures our partners are treated with respect and exceptional service. This is why we are bound by our “Five Principles of Putco�.

QUALITY Putco places great importance on the quality of any product that goes out our door. We are an IATF:16949 and ISO:9001 certified facility, and have a quality department that is actively monitoring our processes, behavior, environment, and products. We have full measurement and testing capabilities, with many tools and frequentlyused analytical techniques at our disposal.

INNOVATION
Putco has a reputation of adopting industry trends early on due to our unique research and design processes. We hold over 100 patents, most of which are utility, and dozens of trademarks to protect the work our leading R&D team has done to position Putco’s product line at the forefront of all automotive accessories.

INVENTORY
Putco has over 60,000 Sq. Ft. dedicated to storing raw and finished goods, supporting our state-of-the-art 60,000 Sq. Ft. of manufacturing space. We utilize all major shipping solutions and have a team dedicated to pulling and shipping orders as quickly as possible.

WARRANTY Putco produces the highest quality parts on the market. We place confidence in them and ensure our customers are getting what they paid for. We offer reasonable warranties on all parts and have a customer service team working during business hours every day.

PROFIT - FOR our clients Putco’s success depends on that of our clients. We have a three-tiered pricing plan in place to ensure everyone we do business with is successful. Our fully staffed sales department is ready and willing to provide expertise in terms of training, advising sessions, product placement, and referrals. Nearly every action taken by all departments at Putco is aimed to help our customers maximize their profitability when selling product manufactured and/or branded by Putco.

FACILITIES Putco was born and raised in America’s heartland. Originally located in Story City, Iowa, in 2013 Putco HQ was moved to a brand new building in Des Moines, Iowa. Since then, we have continued to innovate our facilities just as much as our product line. We are proud to call this building home and will continue to make it cutting edge and unique.

OUR
AUTOMOTIVE ACCESSORIES Putco has been known for decades as a highend brand within the automotive accessory industry. Our research and design practices coupled with our relationship and support for our customers have kept us ahead throughout our long history, leading to the inception, production, and distribution of many market-leading accessories.
POWERSPORTS For many years Putco’s various product lines have been marketed towards the Powersports industry by our customers. Last year, Putco released our first-ever product specific to this industry, the Clutch Buddy, pictured to the left. In addition to this part of our product line is in distribution chains for several major Powersports distributors and manufacturers.

INDUSTRIAL MANUFACTURING Putco’s broad machining and production capabilities have prepared us to make an extremely widespread variety of product. We are prepared to make anything our expansive array of machinery will allow.
EMERGENCY LIGHTING Using the patented technology from our Blade series, Putco created the Emergency Blade and kicked off our expansion into this new category. Putco has many useful products in this market, and we are constantly working with our research and design department, suppliers, and customers to continue to innovate in this area.
ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURING Our OEM departments make parts that fit the specifications for Ford, GM, Nissan, Mopar, and more. Our engineers work very closely with these entities on every step of the manufacturing process to ensure their standards are being met. Teamchat is used by Putco’s Research and Design department to effectively communicate our design process to the OEM.

CAPABILITIES World-Class CNC Putco has a CNC department complete with five large-format routers with a grand total of eleven heads. Putco also has several live-tool CNC lathes with a partner program. When it comes to CNC manufacturing, Putco can compete with anyone in the world. Many of our signature product lines are manufactured on our CNC machines, like our Luminix Jeep headlight, pictured to the left.
High Speed Laser Our laser is capable of cutting aluminum, steel, and stainless steel. This is the starting point for products such as our rocker panels and punch grills. Pictured is our Mitsubishi 4500k laser in action.
Tube Fabrication Putco has a seven axis tube fabrication/bending line, with capabilities to bend aluminum, steel, and stainless steel. Capabilities range from two inch to up to four inch tubes. The Crippa machine pictured above also lets us bend our patented extrusion, allowing us to manufacture products like the BOSS Rack and Adventure Rack.

Lighting and LED Emerging in the mid-2000s as an early leader in twelve-volt LED, Putco is currently the only U.S. SEMA member with a full-service, in house LED manufacturing system.
