Using the saffana colors with sunset sky, and textures produced by nature to creates a unique motif Mengeksplor kebudayaan yang berasal dari Afrika, dimana kebudayaan ini merupakan kebudayaan yang saya punya dari sisi ayah. Menggunakan warna-warna safana dengan cahaya senja sore, dan tekstur-tekstur yang dihasilkan oleh alam, sehingga menghasilkan sebuat motif yang unik

Fabrics . 06

For the patch work, I used fabric with natural ď€ bres, that is Linen Fabric, so the color will soak in to the fabric and gave a very strong and nice color result. The pattern was produced by fruit and vegetables texture. The fruit and vegetables that used are : Lemon, Paprika, and Potatos.

Untuk patch work, saya menggunakan kain dengan serat alami yaitu Linen Fabric, sehingga warnanya akan meresap ke dalam kain dan memberikan hasil warna yang sangat kuat dan baik Motif kain dihasilkan oleh tekstur buah dan sayur. Buah dan sayuran yang digunakan adalah: Lemon, Paprika, dan Kentang.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT Madura is an island that located in east of East Java Province. The island which means "the honey on the mainland" has an area of 5168 km2 with a population of nearly 4 million people. One of the most interesting culture in Madura apart from karapan sapi is the “Petik Laut” Madura. Petik Laut is a form of joy and an expression of gratitude God for the abundant harvest of marine products. Minimalist means to simplify something, but still produce a beautiful shape. Likewise with minimalism in 1990. One characteristic is that they use simple cutting, but still shape the body. Pulau Madura merupakan pulau yang terletak disebelah timur Provinsi Jawa Timur. Pulau dengan arti nama “madu di tanah daratan” ini memiliki luas sebesar 5168 km2 dengan jumlah penduduk hampir 4 juta orang. Salah satu adat yang paling menarik di madura selain karapan sapi adalah, Petik Laut Madura. Petik Laut merupakan bentuk kegembiraan, sukacita, dan ungkapan syukur para nelayan terhadap Tuhan atas panen hasil laut yang melimpah Minimalist artinya menyerdehanakan sesuatu, namun tetap menghasilkan bentuk yang indah. Begitu pula dengan minimalis pada tahun 1990. Salah satu cirinya adalah mereka menggunakan cutting sederhana, namun tetap membentuk tubuh.

Fabrics . 14

The pattern symbolize a joy, which comes from the philosophy of “Petik Laut” Madura. I used Drill Fabric as the media where this pattern will be printed digitally. Motif ini melambangkan kegembiraan dan sukacita yang bersumber dari loso “Petik Laut” Madura. Saya menggunakan Kain Drill sebagai media dimana motif ini akan dicetak secara print digital.

There are two techniques that were used for this collection, Embroidery and slashing. The Embroidery will followed the shape of the boat in the pattern that has been printed. While the slashing techniques were used in two different fabric, in organza and toyobo. Ada dua teknik yang digunakan untuk koleksi ini, yaitu bordir dan slashing. Bordir tersebut akan mengikuti bentuk perahu sesuai motif yang telah dicetak. Sedangkan teknik slashing dilakukan pada dua kain yang berbeda, yaitu organza dan toyobo.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT The art of embroidered has been found since ancient times and ď€ rst appearing in 330 AD in Byzantium. The development of embroidery today can be done with a variety of techniques, such as : sewing machines, hand embroidery, and computer techniques. One of the best embroidery-producing areas in Indonesia is Tasikmalaya. Tasikmalaya is one of the industrial centers for embroidery decoration industry. Tasikmalaya embroidery has a fairly good quality in terms of neatness and density. One of the characteristics of Tasikmalaya embroidery itself is the distinctive shape of the rose ower and the krancang embroidery technique. Seni hiasan bordir telah ditemukan sejak dahulu, pertama kali muncul di tahun 330M di Byzantium. Semakin berkembangnya zaman kini bordir dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai macam teknik, seperti, dengan mesin jahit, pemidangan, hingga akhirnya muncul dengan teknik komputer. Salah satu daerah penghasil bordir terbaik di Indonesia adalah di Kota Tasikmalaya. Kota tasikmalaya merupakan salah satu daerah sentra industri hiasan bordir dan merupakan produk unggulan. Bordir Tasikmalaya memiliki kualitas yang cukup baik dari segi kerapihan dan kerapatannya. Salah satu yang menjadi ciri khas bordir Tasikmalaya sendiri adalah bentuk bunga mawarnya dan teknik bordir krancang.

This Collection used a variety of fabrics from Linen, Semi Wool, Drill, to Organza, which in turn will be combined with Tasikmalaya's manual embroidery technique. D E CO N I Z E


RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT Modernize in Classical, this theme will reect a bold image by displaying the impression of beauty in it. This collection will produce a design that represents the modernization of the world that is happening so fast, and because of these factors, it has eroded many phenomena. However, even so, there are those who have survived until now and have survive. The description above inspired me to use Art Deco as inspiration. Therefore, this collection is named "Deconize". Mengangkat tema Modernize in Classical, tema ini menggambarkan gambaran tegas dengan menampilkan kesan keindahan didalamnya. Koleksi ini akan menghasilkan desain yang mempresentasikan modernisasi dunia yang terjadi begitu cepat dan karena faktor tersebut banyak fenomena yang tergerus dibuatnya. Namun, walaupun begitu, ada yang bertahan hingga saat ini dan tetap bertahan “tidak kehilangan zaman”. Gambaran diatas menginspirasi saya untuk mejadikan Art Deco sebagai inspirasi. Maka dari itu, koleksi ini di beri nama “Deconize”.

LEGENDHA The Legend of Pulau Kemaro


RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT Inspired by a folk tale from South Sumatra, Pulau Kemaro was emerged from the love story of Siti Fatimah and Tan Bun An. Tan Bun An is a wealthy merchant from Tiong Hoa, China. Meanwhile, Siti Fatimah is a native Malay woman from South Sumatra. In this collection, the design was inspired by combining the culture of China and South Sumatra. Terinspirasi dari sebuah cerita rakyat yang berasal dari Sumatera, Pulau Kemaro muncul dari kisah cinta Siti Fatimah dan Tan Bun An. Tan Bun An adalah Saudagar kaya dari Tiong Hoa,Tiongkok (China). Sedangkan Siti Fatimah merupakan wanita Melayu asli Sumatera Selatan. Dalam desain dengan tema LEGENDHA : The Legend Of Pulau Kemaro, akan dilakukan penggabungan antara kebudayaan China dan Sumatera Selatan.
