Shards of Memories: the new potential hit puzzle game
(This is a continuation of Part 1 of this article)
The gameplay is much like you would expect it to be. Before you, lay all the puzzle pieces that you will require to complete the task. In order to turn and move these pieces, you simply tap on them. Keep tapping on them to keep the pieces rotating. After rotating the piece how you want it to be, the next thing to do is to move the piece to the image. The piece will fit right in if the configuration is correct. It is simple, straightforward, and it works quite well. The only drawback of the gameplay would have to be the slight difficulty there is in clearly identifying the pieces. This is due to the inability to zoom in on the puzzle pieces, of which there are several. The main theme and narrative of the game are linked to the puzzles by some text that lies nearby. This storyline is thrown at you right from the beginning with the following: “Rise and Shine. The morning always gets to me. This is how you are introduced to one of the characters in the game’s plot. As the game goes, you begin to piece the storyline together as it reveals itself to you.
You should not worry about getting bored with this game because it provides you with several hours of enjoyment. It is also a great way to challenge yourself because the puzzles become tougher as the game progresses. These puzzles are spread over three chapters, and within that lie 84 levels, all of which provide a new and different experience. The art in this game is all original, and in addition to that there is some custom photography. The music and soundtrack is truly amazing, especially because of how beautifully it fits in to the overall theme of the game.
