• Most Team Leaders suffer from bad Team Engagement. • The only way to ensure goal achievement is to retain members through good engagement. As a leader, your members are your biggest resource! •

These are a few simple steps to engage your membership effectively – Set goals for your members – this should be based on your overall team goals – Make sure your members are aware of their goals, and what little tasks they need to do each week in order to achieve them. – Do a Team Meeting every week – physical meetings are always preferred. Getting your members to attend are a test of your Leadership. Follow up with absentees. – If members are not attending your meetings, it means they are not seeing enough value in them, regardless of their reasons for not attending. – If they have any issues at home, sort them out with your VPs help ASAP. – Run a performance review every 2-3 weeks to build accountability – this will be based on the Team Management Tracker! Do not do random team meetings Analyze where your team stands w.r.t. goal achievement, identify inferences and obstacles and base your agenda on that. Get your VPs inputs on each team meeting Your biggest task will be to get ALL your members to come to the meeting. The best way to build a team culture is to ensure 100% attendance. IMPORTANT: Minute Every Meeting and Upload onto your Team Page/Podio Workspace! Put one member in charge of this! A simple Meeting Flow can be as follows(to be adapted as per your needs): – – – – – – – –
