UNTIL 03 JANUARY ENJOY THE VICTORIA PLACE FREE FAMILY TRAIL Pick up a free Family Trail guide at Victoria Place and discover everything the centre has on offer. The trail will reveal some of the unexpected features around Victoria Place as well as providing a route around Woking to discover the amazing art and curiosities the town has to offer. In addition to the fantastic shopping experience at Victoria Place, there is plenty to keep families entertained including movies at the cinema, theatre shows, and free kids play activities. The trail will take families on a leisurely walk. The trail is suitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs. As part of the trail, Victoria Place will be running a monthly prize draw to win a £20 voucher of the winner’s choice to spend at the centre. To enter, families simply need to take a photo with one of the sculptures along the trail and then post their photo on either their Facebook or Instagram account along with the hashtag #WokingTrail. 20 OCTOBER - 06 NOVEMBER IGNITE As twilight falls, the IGNITE magic begins. Expect the unexpected, with glimpses of fairies that could be dancing in lanterns, playful top hats and teapots. Within this fiery interpretation of flora and fantasy, set to an atmospheric soundscape, there are moments of discovery and reflection. Visitors are met with hand-held lanterns so they can light their own way through tree-lined avenues on a quietly magical meander. Walk between flickering flames and see fire breathing dragons, a river of flames and fire balls. Pause under the Instagram favourite Tunnel of Light, adorned with more than 100,000 pea-lights stretching almost 50 metres in length. Feel dwarfed by the majesty of nature as you pass giant Badgers, Robins and other woodland wildlife sculpted in willow. 21 OCTOBER MEET THE MEERKATS Merrist Wood College, Holly Lane, Worplesdon, Guildford, GU3 3PE. If you love meerkats then what better experience than to get up close and personal to our Merrist Wood meerkat family. Our meet the meerkat experiences are available to anyone aged eight-years-old plus. During the experience you will control feed the meerkats and learn all about them from one of our Animal Keepers. Our meerkats are very friendly and will happily play near you during the experience. The experience takes place inside the meerkat enclosure within the walled garden. The ground is a sand-based substrate and is therefore not suitable for wheelchair users. Meet the Meerkats is £30 per person for a 20 minute encounter, and is available at weekends and during school holidays. Those participating in Meet the Meerkats must be aged 8+ and wear closed-toe shoes and long trousers or they will be unable to take part.

Get ready for Hallowe’en and create a spooky artwork for your house . Talented local artist and founder of the Dib Dab Club for children, Jo Mitchell shows us how to make the perfect collage for your wall or door. She will bring all the materials, you just need to turn up ready to create! Ticket price is for 2 people, this can be a parent/carer and a child or two children. Suitable for ages 5 to 85! 19 NOVEMBER COLLECTIVELY CAMBERLEY CHRISTMAS LIGHT SWITCH ON Camberley Town Centre, Camberley. The Collectively Camberley Christmas Light Switch On is a FREE family fun day and a great way to kick start the festive season! We welcome back for the second year our Christmas lights around the town and even a ‘Bauble Chair’ for you to take a selfie in! You can find it on Princess Way. We will have a jammed packed Christmas Market on High Street and other FREE activities to get involved with at this year’s event. We’ll have FREE face-painting over on High Street and balloon modelling all day across the town! You’ll be greeted by our festive street entertainers who will be roaming around the town! Don’t forget there will also be live local community acts and groups on our Park Street stage from 1pm until the switching on of the lights! (Happening on stage.)
