Holiday Club - Drop off and Leave A 7-hour session (9am - 4pm) for 6-12 year olds (older children are welcome) run with the ethos of forest school and a wonderful introduction to Bushcraft and other fun forest activities! This is a session where parents can drop their children off for the day, knowing that they are going to have a fun filled day Activities will include stream damming,den building, pond dipping, bushcraft skills, fire lighting, cooking on fire, tool use, natural crafts, mini beast hunting plus much, much more! We will be running these sessions each Thursday throughout the summer holidays £32 per child/ Sibling Discount £28.00 Includes a camp fire snack. Bring activity clothes, (long sleeves and trousers recommended) waterproofs, wellies, suntan cream and a sun hat. We also recommend a towel and a change of clothes for the way home... we intend to get messy! Your child will need a packed lunch and we will meet you outside the Visitors centre, on the terrace at Bodenham Arboretum, DY11 5TB from 8.45am please arrive before 9am. Pick up at 4pm from the terrace at Bodenham Arboretum. We have a large shelter on site so even if the weather is really wet we will be able to carry on with most of the activities and stay relatively dry. The only reason that we may have to cancel holiday club is in the event of high winds or thunder storms or the due to Covid 19 the lockdown regulations are increased.

23 - 30 JULY THREE CHOIRS FESTIVAL This Festival is the world’s longest-running classical choral music festival, rotating annually between Hereford, Gloucester and Worcester and featuring a week-long programme of concerts, cathedral services, exhibitions, walks and talks, with the Three Cathedral Choirs, Three Choirs Festival Chorus and Youth Choir, the Philharmonic Orchestra, internationally known soloists and conductors, guest choirs and recitalists and young artists. The orphanage was founded by Stella Saxby, who some of you may remember. Her parents were killed in a car crash in 1933, leaving her an orphan, all alone with her Awful Auntie. And when we say awful, we mean awful!” Awful Auntie by David Walliams, adapted for the outdoor stage by Heartbreak Productions, is a truly thrilling tale. Owls, ghosts, chases, escapes, motorcycle rides, and tiddlywinks all fill Stella’s days as she evades her menacing Aunt and saves the family home.
