Dr. Susan Cardenas: Health Education Specialist
Dr. Susan Cardenas is a Certified Education Specialist (CHES). As a CHES, Dr. Susan Cardenasis responsible for the development of health education programs, materials and training curricula, member outreach and health education, and program proposal research and writing.
Former Assistant Professor Dr. Susan Cardenas was formerly an assistant professor in the Department of Health Studies at Texas Women’s University (TWU). She served in this position from 2007 to 2010, and taught a variety of courses to both graduate and undergraduate students. Dr. Susan Cardenas is glad to have been a part of the Texas Women’s University faculty, and to have provided instruction to TWU’s great students.
Dr. Susan Cardenas: College Professor Dr. Susan Cardenas enjoys being a College Associate Professor at New Mexico State University. As a professor, she has the opportunity to reach and educate enthusiastic students who are interested in learning more about the different aspects of public health. Dr. Susan Cardenas has been a member of the NMSU faculty since 1996, and is currently the Director of the SWAG program, an outreach and research program targeted at teen pregnancy prevention.

Dr. Susan Cardenas enjoys teaching a variety of subjects within the New Mexico State University Department of Public Health Sciences, having been a member of the NMSU faculty since 1996. Dr. Susan Cardenas provides skilled instruction and committed attention to her students, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues within the institution.
