Gil Horwitz - Successful Property Manager and Family Man For more than ten years, Gil Horwitz has been an active participant in the mid-Atlantic real estate industry. Before beginning his career as a real estate investor and property manager, Gil attended the Ner Israel Rabbinical College in Baltimore, Maryland. Here he succeeded with his education and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Talmudic Law. From here, Gil went on to receive an M.B.A. in Finance from Johns Hopkins University. With his educational background and deep understanding of finances, Gil entered into the world of real estate investments, focusing on investing in Multi-family and residential projects. Over the next year, Gil gained valuable experience in ground-up development, property rehabilitation, and management.

After spending a year working with other real estate investors in the Baltimore area, Gil Horwitz started Sage Management, LLC; a property investment and management company that focuses on providing quality, affordable housing for residents in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. sub-markets. Gil’s experience over the next ten years has provided him the skills necessary to maintain properties in the best possible manner. As an experienced, hands-on local landlord, Gil has been able to establish an effective collection system that affords him the ability to operate properties that cater to the affordable housing market, which has been needed in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. areas.

Gil Horwitz and his company, Sage Management, LLC have consistently invested in blighted properties. These properties, before Gil stepped in, were neighborhood nuisances.

With Gil’s hard work and dedication to providing nice, quality homes at a good value, has helped turn these mismanaged and rundown properties into neighborhood assets. With strong relationships with Lenders, Suppliers, and Vendors, Gil is able to take on challenging projects and finding success. As of today, Gil and Sage Management, LLC owns and operates a portfolio of more than 900 units.

Along with investing and managing properties throughout the Baltimore area, Gil Horwitz is also very active in his community. His company, Sage Custom Homes, is a proud sponsor of a neighborhood children’s football team. With a wife and five children, Gil spends as much time as he can with his family; participating in community events and activities. Gil also is dedicated to living a healthy lifestyle and can be found exercising on a daily basis. With his motivation and drive, Gil has managed to build a successful property investment and management business and raise a healthy and happy family.
