Grace Blouin was a dedicated student at Toastmaster International. Founded in 1924, Toastmasters International has more than 292,000 members across the world. Toastmasters International teaches people public speaking skills and leadership. It is a great resource for people of all walks of life. Grace Blouin: Second Chance Graduate
Grace Blouin received a certificate of completion from Second Chance / STRIVE in their 120 Job Retraining program. When she graduated from the program, she received a special commendation for graduation from two San Diego City Council members, Todd Gloria from district three and Anthony Young from district four. She is proud of her graduation from Second Chance and was able to learn a lot while there.
Grace Blouin: READ San Diego Grace Blouin was happy to be involved with READ San Diego. She completed their Literacy Tutor training. The program is sponsored by the city of San Diego Library District and is specifically designed for adult learners. As a model program, the READ San Diego program model is spreading all across the country.
