Jay Parmley believes it will take the full cooperation and open mind of both political parties to create tangible results for the American people. He is an individual with impeccable communication skills. Through many years as the executive director of multiple southern State Democratic Party organizations, Jay Parmley developed the ability to effectively communicate with Democrats at the ground level and highest offices as well as with independent voters in order to help Democratic candidates win elections. Jay Parmley believes that the principles of the Democratic Party are more accurately aligned with the needs of the American people. Democrats are fighting for the important issues of the day such as raising the minimum wage, supporting equal pay for equal work, fully funding public education and providing access to quality healthcare for all Americans. He is currently the executive director of South Forward. South Forward provides much needed support for Democratic candidates running for office in the Southern United States. The organization was established in January of 2013 to stem the complete Republican Party takeover of the South. The organization has already experienced considerable success in its attempt to elect Democratic officials throughout the south. The states that have felt the impact of South Forward include Oklahoma, Mississippi, Florida, South Carolina, and Louisiana.
