Phil Eitman’s Favorite Things Phil Eitman has lived a life that many wish they could. He has the ability to be a paid professional in the field he loves most, while working a schedule that allows him ample time to engage in all of his other favorite activities. He stands as a model for the work hard, play hard stereotype that thrives both in a career setting as well as a lifestyle one. With a lifetime that revolves around the things that he enjoys most, Phil Eitman has achieved what many hobbyists strive to.

Cooking The culinary arts are not only something that Phil Eitman is extremely passionate about, but it is also something that has supported his livelihood. As a talented chef, mixologist and caterer he has seen the ins and the outs of the service industry, and decided that running his own private catering business was the least stressful option that also boasted the right amount of room for creativity. His guests are often pleased and entertained with his delectable creations, which are often credited for getting people to the table and giving them something to talk about.

Snowboarding Phil Eitman is a snowboarding enthusiast who has been riding for much of his life. As a Salt Lake City resident, he enjoys close proximity to some of the steepest terrain and deepest powder that North America has to offer. He likes to ride either before his work day starts r after it ends at one of his favorite resorts: Brighton, Park City or Canyons.

Fishing He may be landlocked in Utah, but during the summertime Phil Eitman travels down to San Diego, where he lives as a resident chef at a guest house. He often goes fishing with the owner in the morning to catch whatever sea creatures he will be serving up that night. San Diego is known for its incredible saltwater fishing that includes catches such as albacore, dorado and yellowtail.

Surfing To Phil Eitman, there is nothing more peaceful than paddling out into the ocean on a cool early morning before the sunrise. And there is nothing as gratifying as capturing that idea wave that moves with you as you cut back and forth over the rushing wall of water. Surfing is one of his favorite hobbies by far, and he is most grateful for the ability to make money off it as a surf instructor during the summertime.
