QBRECOVERY Quickbooks ADR File Extension

With the intention of backing up the information of your company, QuickBooks will create a file to keep a copy of the necessary data. This file will be the base to restore all the information you need, in case you lose it under any kind of circumstances. This file is inside the Auto Data Recovery folder and to distinguish it from the rest, it has an adr extension at the end of its name, qbw.adr. This last three letter is what allow to identify this important file. It should never be deleted, or it would make a lot harder the process of restoring the data. QuickBooks will run several tests on your company file every time you open it and in time cycles, with the idea of keeping updated the data. However, this folder won’t work as a support for all the information, so you must be aware of that, and make a different backup for the information you don’t have in your company file.
