Exhibitions Interfaces: Art and Technology The exhibition "Interfaces: Art and Technology" (along with a program of ancillary activities) successfully toured seven venues in western and far north Queensland after opening at Griffith's Gold Coast campus. It featured nineteen works from the Griffith University Art Collection in a wide range of "high-tech" and "low-tech" media including videos, computer-generated works, photographs of performance and installation works, photocopy works, and video stills. The program of ancillary activities which accompanied the exhibition provided a base for local communities to mount and participate in complementary activities, for example:Blackall held a tele-conferencing seminar on technology and the arts; Longreach conducted a video production workshop; Emerald hosted a photographic workshop; and Cairns organised a complementary exhibition of technology-based works by local artists, as well as a performance evening and a seminar.
