OPEN FEMALE GUARANTEE — We guarantee that all breeding cattle sold by Burke Show Cattle are fertile to the best of our knowledge. If an open female is determined as a non-breeder by a licensed, agreed upon vet, we will credit you the purchase price of the female (minus market salvage value) as credit to the ranch or the cattle from the same ranch in the next sale. You must notify us before you cull any infertile animals. BRED FEMALE GUARANTEE — We guarantee that all females are bred at the time of the sale. We understand that things can happen to these females in the happenings of the sale and in transportation to your farm or ranch. We cannot guarantee females against abortion past the date of arrival at your farm or ranch. May we suggest a short-term insurance policy against the bred females or a policy against the calf in utero. Insurance will be made available at the sale clerk’s desk. We guarantee that the females are bred to the sire (AI or clean-up) listed in the sale catalog. We cannot guarantee the fertility of these females past the first calving period. All females, once in the hands of the new owner, are in conditions and environments beyond our control. Credit on open and bred females must be used within the calendar year that it is issued.
Trucking & Load Out
We will make every effort to assist you with your trucking arrangements. I encourage you to contact me before the sale, but in any event, we look at trucking as a minor detail. We want to get you the cattle you need and will help keep it as cost effective and convenient as possible.
Insurance
Jeff Aegeter will be available to handle any insurance needs through Great American Insurance Company.

Superior LIvestock Prouductions HOW TO PARTICIPATE AS AN ABSENTEE BUYER We prefer for each of you to be in attendance on sale day. Realistically, we know there will be some scheduling conflicts and distance limitations. In these cases, we have arranged for you to be able to participate in the sale on an absentee basis. If possible, you can come by and evaluate the animals prior to sale day. If distance is a problem, we can also provide you with a DVD of all the cattle for home viewing. All of the lots in the sale will be available for viewing online prior to sale day at www.superiorlivestock.com as well. Customers tell us that the video does a good job of showing conformation, structural correctness, and how the cattle travel, etc. Our sale book, with complete data on each animal, is very helpful. Please feel free to call us with questions.
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS
Please call Superior Productions at 800-431-4452 and pre-register for your buyer’s number. A registration form needs to be filled out and returned to Superior Productions with a signature on it. This registration form is also available on the website at www.superiorlivestock.com under the Superior Productions tab where it can be printed, completed and either faxed or mailed in. Upon receipt of this information Superior will call you with a buyer’s number and the bid line number that you will use on sale day to place bids over the phone. The sale will be broadcast on the internet at www.superiorlivestock.com. Simply go to the website and in the Yellow Announcements Box on the home page click on the link titled “To watch today’s Auction - click here”. Regardless of internet connection, you will be able to view and listen to the same video feed as seen on the satellite. The bidding process is the same – follow the auction on the internet and call the bid line number to place your bids. Your computer must have Flash Media Player installed to view auction. Bidders who are successful in making purchases via internet will be contacted by the ranch after the sale to settle payment and shipping arrangements.
WELCOME On behalf of everyone involved in the sale, we would like to welcome you to the ranch and thank you for being with us for this year’s sale. I am very excited about this set of cattle. While it is easy to say they are better than last years’, this year’s offering will far exceed anything we have offered for many years. We try every year to bring you variation of type and kind, as well as the very best in genetics available. Our extensive embryo program is offered here for you today in the form of the top heifer calves out of our herd. You will notice our sale numbers have been cut down this year. We are only selling what we feel is our very best. The bred heifers were sorted out of the same 120 we always run. We brought you the AI’d ones and the good ones! We are keeping some of the heifers that did not settle A.I., but did not hold anything back, what you see here is the most functional, eye appealing and best bred heifers we have ever had. As always, we are offering a couple show heifers from our customers as sale features. Don’t miss them as they are special! We are fortunate enough to have many long time customers and friends in this business. Please keep in mind we are here to assist you in marketing your cattle when you purchase from us. We are always willing to help with you with your show cattle projects, be it in the ring, during breeding, or marketing of your embryos and production. We look at this sale as a partnership. We want to see you succeed with your purchases and will help you any way we can. Like I say, we want to show with you, not against you. I hope you find what you are looking for in this offering as I know I have! Respectfully, Tim Burke
Saturday, November 21, 2009
We invite you to join us anytime Saturday to view the cattle and enjoy the excellent cooking provided by Michael Lobato and Larry Duran.

A SPECIAL THANKS
We have feel very fortunate to have all of our crew. I would like to say a special thanks again this year to Alex Kimmerling. He puts in a lot of hard long hours, and his dedication to our program and our family means everything to us! I also want to say a special Thank you to my good Friend Kevin Bremer. He has put as much into this sale, from breeding, to sorting, to clipping as anyone. Finally, to my kids Cody and Morgan. Cody puts in as many hours in the clipping room as anyone, and Morgan just puts in as many hours doing anything her dad asks her to, so the ranch runs smoothly. Last but certainly not least, my wife Shelly. who’s patience, and support go way too often unmentioned!
