Welcome Cattle Enthusiasts This marks the 22nd year of our TOP CUT FEMALE SALE. We are always trying to keep our program current and our Genetics fresh. It took us a while to find the right kind of Simmental Genetics that fit our low input cowherd but yet had the pizzazz to be competitive in show ring environment. We are fortunate that the education system in our High Schools and Colleges have trended to a conservative money making type of animal and that fits perfectly with our system. This year’s offering is diverse and full of quality. Nationally Competitive Simmental and Simmental Influence females that are the right kind for advancing percentages or crossbreeding scenarios. Red Angus that are Nationally Competitive but yet come from practical cows. My Great Grandfather W.C. would be proud that we are selling our first (born and raised on the place) Purebred Hereford Female for over 100 years and she is a Good One! Thank you Jason Hoffman and Randy Mullinix for the help in the Hereford Department. Our Charolais Herd is small but deadly and also follows our goals of practicality. We are immensely proud to have bred and raised the 100th Roll of Excellence Charolais Bull that was also the 46th National Champion Bull. TWO FULL SISTERS SELL!! And a Maternal Sister to Firewater. A sister to the Supreme Heifer at the 2015 Kansas State Fair also sells. Thanks to our Charolais friends for your help in achieving these milestones. You know who you are. Finally our Angus and Maine Anjou cattle make for the base of 95% of our Herd, not to mention the advantage of having some “Chi Influence” Females as well! I will have to say our Angus Program is making Great Strides! The Grand Champion Angus Female at the Kansas State Fair was sired by a young bull we bred and raised, owned by Schilling Cattle. Congratulations to them and the Hinrichsons. JSAR Titan is being used heavily on heifer projects across the nation and the First and Only Full Sister to Titan sells at Lot 1 and a Maternal Sister by Journey is Lot 2. JSAR Scotland had our 2 High Selling bulls this year. JSAR CAT our High Seller is one of this year’s best Genetic Powerhouses and ranks among the very best in the breed as a NonParent Sire for his Performance EPD’s. A Full Sister to Scotland sells as Lot 3. As always our Forte’ is our fresh genetics that provide excellent outcross to current breed topping Sires and provide the building blocks of quality and practical fundamentals. They have stood the test of time and as we always say, check your pedigrees, chances are our genetics will show up in your Champion as well. Thanks for your confidence in our program and have a great Holiday Season.

(REG. # 2743620)

These next 2 females are 7/8 sisters and out of an amazing Built Right Donor. The Seehase and Scott boys flushed this cow to Big Deal and boy did it work. Pretty and complete enough to run competitively with the Percentages but her best days are in front of her as a cow. These Big Deal daughters are freshening into some of the best young cows around.

SIRE: WLE UNO MAS X549 DAM: BUILT RIGHT

This is a full sister to the Popularly campaigned heifer for the Reed Family of Indiana sold by Drew Miller and Us. That heifer was hardly ever beaten in Breed in Indiana and won her Division in the Junior show in Louisville. We see much of the same potential in this modern Red Baldy.

(TITAN X 1RT AAA #18430280)

We love this heifer. She is out of a full Brother to Scotland and a beautiful first calf PB Big Deal Daughter. Modern, advanced, and gentle. She is the kind that competes but her flatness and squareness of joints and no miss structure is going to be a great building block for her in this breed as a cow.

SIRE: MR HOC BROKER DAM: HONEY DONOR

(LUT X MEYER) This heifer is a stouter, better chested, bigger boned version of the heifer that the Nikkel family won Jr Nationals with in Iowa. We think this one could be a force to reckon with in the 1/2 blood arena this year. Her maternal dam also raised the Grand Steer in Tulsa a couple years back, so backdrops are in the pedigree.

SIRE: ROCKSTAR DAM: 345 SNOWBALL We knew when we purchased Rockstar that this bull was going to do big things for us. Santana’s dam was a sight unseen, past top selling bred heifer purchase from Dunk. She is a Snowball (Alias x Payback) out of an Angus cow and is perfect uddered, right sized, and a good looking addition to the Donor pen. Since Santana was a baby he was special. With all the hype and questions about what color Rockstar would throw we were expecting something crazy colored, instead this solid black bull calf was born out of a smoke colored cow. At that point Brig was certain he would stay a bull, he was wanting to keep the most intriguing and advanced club calf out of Rockstar a bull and this was the one. This bull has always been dead gentle, extremely advanced in his rib design and muscle development for his age and was super hairy as a calf. What makes this bull unique is his ability to tie together that potential AI sire’s extra quality and look, with an honest body type (both length and depth), a stout muscular back and hip design, Extra Performance (Rarely seen in this Industry), all on top of the right hoof design and structure that’s always been demanded in the business. Don’t miss out on this black version of Rockstar because we feel he has the ability to sell semen and return profits more than any we’ve ever raised. THC and PHAF. Selling 50% possession and 50% Semen Interest.
