The rapid development of modern urbanization has given birth to a special area, which we call "urban village." Because of its special geographical location and low cost of living, urban villages have become an integral part of the city, especially for ecdemic young people and old indigenous people. The old buildings, the small space and the lack of commercial and leisure resources cause the residents a great deal of depression. In order to solve these problems, the renovation of the project focused on the shaping of the external buildings, the design of the commercial area around the main road and the design of the roof garden. The gradual renewal strategy of retaining historical layers, superimposing rather than replacing. It preserves the residents ' original memories and rejuvenates them, according to providing them with comfortable living space.

02 An Atlas of Old and New Growth

-- Public Space Design for Cangyuan Village

INDIVIDUAL WORK

Date: 2022.10

Site: Cangyuan, Yunnan Province

A people with a deep admiration for black and natural culture has been very good at singin g and dancing since ancient times. However, under today's social conditions, their village ha s no trace of traditional culture. The local residents are now living in depression.Through th e investigation of local residents, I found that their most urgent needs are a place to relax and the memory of traditional culture. Therefore, using spatial memory and contextual recons truction to create such a place is the focus of my design. An ancient local tree is like a tote m in people's hearts. In this design, I use the ancient tree as a carrier to connect the past and the present. Three landscape nodes are designed under the tree to meet the villagers' demand for multifunctional public space. In addition, the work tries to awaken villagers' cultur al memory with ancient trees.

--The Beer Museum Under the Concept of Earth Sheltered Architecture

INDIVIDUAL WORK

Date: 2022.10

Site: Qingdao, Shandong Province

Belonging to the combination of tourism and the brand industry, the beer museum should meet the needs of learning and experience in terms of function. The unique design of the scene layout and the route is designed to allow visitors to relax and easily remember the beer craft and culture. In the overall design, I used the concept of earth sheltered architecture, which can not only protect the original ecology of the island, but also make it in harmony with the environment. The beer museum is ultimately part of the island.

-- Healing Multisensory Botanical Garden Design

INDIVIDUAL WORK

Date: 2021.10

Site: Nanjing,Jiangsu Province

The botanical garden for the blind is characterized by serving special people. We should have a deep understanding of the living habits of the blind people and their perceived needs of the external world.Just as the blind writer Helen Keller began to feel the wonder of nature when she first heard the sound of the water flow and felt the touch of the water flowing through her fingers. From the regional distribution and plant principles, the design of the botanical garden for the blind should fit the special perception mode of the blind —— smell, hearing and touch. The real humanistic care should be to treat the blind as an equal, and the world belongs to us and the people with disabilities.
