This is a project about the beauty of objects. These objects were discarded and found on the beach of Thames River. Suffering from water, tide, sand, sunshine, wind, birds and people stepping on, these objects have gained a kind of delicate appearance, like they are carefully crafted and polished. They are beautiful for their uniqueness. Each one of them is telling its own drifting story.
This is an attempt to interpret the phrase from Laozi (a philosopher and poet of ancient China) : 'No one should be turned back; no item should be discarded.' in a graphic way.
