Our boot packaging utilizes paper separators and a recycled cardboard foot form, both of which are consumer recyclable. All Ride boots feature 30% recycled EVA backing in the shell. A new approach to boot design, Ride’s exclusive Phy-Top 2.0™ construction utilizes fewer individual parts, less glue and creates less waste by bringing into play the specially crafted 100% phylon molded unibody. All of Ride’s binding baseplates and heelcups are made from roughly 50% recycled aluminum, and much like your empty beer cans, are 100% consumer recyclable.

Our snowboard packaging is extremely minimal and the packaging we do use is fully recyclable shrink-wrap. We use a 100% naturally derived biodegradable wax formula on all of our boards. Almost every Ride snowboard uses full swap die-cut bases, which eliminates a significant amount of waste that otherwise would go to landfills and does not require any inks or solvents like many standard bases. Ride’s Membrain® top sheet technology cuts out more than half of the plastic used on traditional top sheets, and our Hempbrain™ top sheet eliminates the traditional plastic top sheet altogether.

Though we often find ourselves daydreaming of carefree powder days, the realization of environmental stewardship has become a priority in the Ride office, causing us to focus on a greener way of living and working. From the engineering table all the way to the home front, Ride employees are encouraged to bare a keen eye for opportunities to protect mother earth, incentivizing bike programs, carpools, and the use of post-consumer recycled materials in our product packaging and paper consumption.

Built just for the ladies, LSD Shaping is available in several versions of Ride rocker, Hybrid and our new Right Sized board shape. All Ladies Ride boards feature a custom waist width and unique flex pattern designed specifically for the female rider. LSD Shaping results in a ladies-specific sidecut built into our finely tuned board profile that works as one dialed package.

right sized series Taking our LSD Total Shaping to a whole new level, we are proud to release the new Right Sized board shape exclusively on our Baretta model. The unique Right Sized shape opens up a world of board size opportunity to a broader range of women riders. This new board profile allows ladies to ride a longer women’s model with more float, perfect for big mountain charging and pow, or ride shorter without the toe drag if that better suits your style. Ultimately it gives you the freedom to ride what size is right for you regardless of your boot size.

lsd pop rods ®

Giving already fun and playful boards the added liveliness to set them apart from the competition, these strategically placed rods are flat carbon pieces that wrap a urethane slime-core. Adding pop without the stiffness, the new LSD Pop Rods® taper in thickness to place more carbon closer to the inserts and less carbon towards the tip and/or tail. This enables ladies to pop with ease onto features and smaller transitions, but retain maximum carbon needed for bigger kickers and in the pipe. Available in 2 levels, 1.0 and 2.0.

C.A.T. (CALF ADJUSTMENT TECHNOLOGY) Strong enough for a man, but made for a woman. Designed to increase comfort and ensure a purrrrfect fit, this unique boot cuff adjustment allows for a custom fit in the calf zone. Available on the Cadence, Sash and Sage.
