Look out for Discounts! Union venues (Ground, Learning cafe and infusion) will be offering discounts and meal deals on healthy living options for Study Well, just look out for the stickers.
StudySpaces Did you know the Students’ Union has secured extra study spaces for you? Visit timetables@qmul.ac.uk or download the QMUL App. If you’re based at Whitechapel, head to the Library or the Garrod Building. There’s also the Study Room, which you can find upstairs in the BLSA Building. Be sure to keep the rooms tidy please.

StudyBreak It’s really important to have a break once in a while. Here’s some ideas of where to spend your study breaks. You can also find out about the nights out, day trips and other things that the Union has to offer on www.qmsu.org/events Brick Lane market Pop to Brick Lane at the weekend for an around the world food market. There are plenty of stalls in the area selling original art and clothing, and it’s the perfect scene for vintage lovers. Head there early to avoid the crowds, or embrace the hustle and bustle. Theatre The Students’ Union offers discounted tickets for some of the most popular shows at the West End, or you can call up theatres to see what’s on offer.
Cinemas Take time out from reality and head to Mile End Road’s Genesis on Mondays and Wednesdays for discounted tickets. If you want something quirkier, look out for rooftop cinema screenings and pillow cinemas. Local parks Enjoy an afternoon free from study in Victoria Park, the perfect destination for a picnic. Spend the day playing sports, spotting adorable dogs, or – if you’re feeling daring – hire a pedalo and go out on the lake.
