beginner line Dance
the Beginner Line dance class provides all students the opportunity to move to music and express themselves in ways other activities do not. this course will introduce basic line dance steps and many different line dances are taught to multiple music genres. class will review dances learned from the previous week, and will move to more advanced level dances as the session progresses. no partner required. instructor: rhonda diamond fee: $120 (12 classes) Location: sports center, dance room

School Safety awareness beginner Cheer
children will learn how to communicate and defend themselves in real-life situations involving stranger abduction and bully intimidation. mindfulness for all
curious about cheer but don’t know where to start? Join us for this new class in which participants will learn basic jumps, arm motions, and stunts. instructors will teach choreographed cheer and dance routines that participants can showcase at city events. ice Skating
Beginner classes for all ages. classes are designed to teach participants to skate and be safe while on ice. classes are 30 minutes long. dress for cold weather: long pants, jacket, and gloves. please arrive 30-45 minutes prior to your first class. enrollment in class includes free public session on day of class and four additional public session passes to practice on a different day of class. class fee includes skate rental, two makeup privileges during the current session (if makeup class is available). skaters are required to bring their skating academy badge to every class (distributed on the first day of class). all participants are required to have a Learn to skate membership ($18) to enroll in the class. skaters also need to create a daysmart account at toyota sports performance center and complete a facility waiver. classes meet at 555 n. nash street, el segundo Blvd., el segundo, ca. 90245. call (310) 535-4400 for questions. instructor: toyota sports performance center staff fee: $70 (4 classes) Location: toyota sports performance center
