The 1950’s were an important time in Louisiana Real Estate. By this time, Louisiana is now mostly urban with a population growth of 39.1% from 1940-1950. Rural population was declining with a decrease of 4.6%. With the Great Depression just ending, crawfish farming was now becoming an industry and LSU won the Sugar Bowl in 1959 and were named National Champions in 1958.
