Service Bulletin INSTALLATION: The end plate is removed by unscrewing the anchor bolts. The control valve is used as a replacement for a control valve or installed as an additional valve. As an additional valve, longer anchor bolts or studs must be used and a connection block for the breakaway couplings must be installed. The additional control valve has to be screwed back to the end plate. It is essential to maintain a tightening torque of the anchor bolts of 30 Nm. This can be checked with a torque wrench. Three spacers with a thickness of 0,05 mm will be supplied. These must be positioned between the existing and the new valve on the anchor bolts or stud bolts, so that the valve block does not warp when the bolts are tightened.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS: The control valve has four positions of the lever, the centre position, pressure on A, pressure on B and the floating position. Once the tightening torque has been maintained, the spool moves smoothly back to its centre position from any other position. On port A is the additional function limit stop. This is functioning when port A develops a pressure of over 180 bar. If the valve does not shut off automatically, the tractor will not reach this pressure or the tightening bolts have been tightened too tight, causing the control piston to jam. If the tractor does not reach this pressure, a modification of the limit switch must be made. This conversion is done with a separate manual. If the control piston jams, the tightening torques of the anchor bolts should be checked. The valve has a floating position. This is behind the switching position of B (lowering). The switching position B also has a lock-in position. This lock-in position is not unlocked by the limit stop. The valve is equipped with a flow control valve. This is located with a turning device on the side of the end cap. If the flow adjuster is turned to the left, the volume flow rate increases. If the flow adjuster is turned to the right, the hand wheel is decreased.
