A 90-mile multi-use trail spanning the state from Lake Ontario to the Pennsylvania border. The majority of the trail is an old railway bed that is a straight, level surface consisting of cinders, gravel and mowed grass perfect for hiking, biking, snowmobiling, and cross country skiing. The Greenway passes through woodlands, wetlands, river and stream valleys, rolling farmlands, steep gorges, and historic villages.
Explore the only gallery in the country dedicated to artwork created during the Great Depression. In the darkest days of the 1930s as part of President Roosevelt’s promise of a New Deal for Americans, qualified artists and artisans were paid to create art for hospitals and schools.
