Load up your ATV or side-by-side for your next escape to the Western New York Wilds. Tall Pines ATV Park boasts over 90 miles of wellmarked trails, maintained with professional grooming, to assure a fun and safe experience for the whole family. Open from March through early November each year, Tall Pines offers a whole slate of events – from an ATV Easter Egg Hunt to the Mud Prom (think ball gowns and tuxedos – and add a whole lot of mud!) to their famous Farm Fest on Labor Day weekend. Stay on site in one of Tall Pines’ vacation rentals, cabins, or campsites.

BALLOON RALLY

Held every July, the Great Wellsville Balloon Rally has charmed visitors for decades. The celebration kicks-off on Friday with a parade down Wellsville’s charming Main Street, followed by the Main Street Festival – featuring over 100 vendors selling crafts, retail items, and delicious street fare, all to the sounds of live music. The celebration continues on Saturday and Sunday at Island Park, with numerous morning and evening balloon launches, as well as fireworks. Admission is FREE, so bring the kids, a picnic blanket and some lawn chairs, and enjoy the fanciful sight of hot air balloons floating overhead!

3& HUNTING AND FISHING Home of the record-setting, 14-point ‘Luckey Buck,’ the Western NY Wilds are known statewide for offering some of the best whitetail deer and eastern wild turkey hunting in the Northeast. If fishing is your passion, the Western NY Wilds offers over 55 miles of Genesee River access, 23 rivers and streams, and six lakes and ponds where you can drop your line. Fish for Brook Trout, Rainbow Trout, Large and Small Mouth Bass, Panfish, Perch, Bluegills, and Walleye within our plentiful waterways; access is simple with eleven DEC Public Fishing Access sites and eight DEC Public Boat Launch sites. All that’s left to do is kick back, enjoy the fishing, and get to work on your next great fish story.
