In the morning, I translated this sense of interconnections as an imaginal vision in which everything happens in lines that interconnect beyond time and space. Drawing a line with the Universe disables the individuality of Ego. My drawings are an active shared meditation. Drawing is the scaffolding not only of image but also of consciousness. The line connects, traces routes, roads that meet or depart. Each ink stroke in this “Windows of the Infinite”, was outlined in a dream. After that during vigil, I translated this sense of interconnections, that pareidolia effects lead me to interpret as super strings entanglement of quantum physics, but above all, they are a window landscape in which everything happens in images that interconnect beyond time and space. I choose to live and draw as part of a whole without judgment or prejudice. Drawing a line with the Universe disables the individuality of Ego, leading me to the unknown but inner felt landscape of Absoluteness. ALESSANDRA SEQUEIRA BIO This year 2018, I exhibited Chapter 1, Art Number 23, London exhibition. Also in Art Box NY1.0, Expo 24/7, Gráfica Génesis in the Municipal Museum in Cartago, also in Women in Art in Plaxall Gallery New York and in Ward Nasse Gallery in New Jersey, as well as Abstraccion and Figuration, in the Rozas Botran Foundation in Guatemala. Participated also this year in the Summer Festival TransitArte in Costa Rica. And looking forward to exhibit this year in London, Italy and Guatemala soon. I was picked by ASHURST EMERGING ART PRIZE 2018, in London. Also I am the symbol for the Exhibition in Red Black “Other Worlds “ 5th Base Gallery in London. I exhibited in Red Dot Art Fair, Miami, 2017, with Jorge Jurado Art Studio, form Bogotá, Colombia. I was nominated for the Middle East Art Collector Association for the Global Art Awards and ARTAVITA chose me for the San Diego Art Fair and also selected to exhibit at Braga Portugal in the “Baroque Exhibition” in July and also in “I Segnaleti”, in Berlin, Germany. I also exhibited at New York Art Expo in April and in May I was awarded with the Caravaggio Award during the Barcelona Biennial. In April I exhibited at Laura Haber Art Gallery, Buenos Aires. In February, I was awarded with the Dante Alighieri International Award that was presented at Biennale Peschiera Del Garda, at Verona, Italy in March 31, 2017. The Contemporary Art Museum MURB, in Guatemala, opened a space dedicated to my entangled drawings in January 2017 and I exhibited in Labyrinths, in Palazzo Ca’ Zanardi, in Venice and in Ingravity, in Jorge Jurado Art Studio, Bogotá. My art was published at The Berliner Art Book 2017 and in December 2016, my exhibition was at Ward Nasse, New Yotk City; October 2016 in OXYGEN - FRAGMENTED IDENTITIES | Bogotá 2016, in Jorge Jurado l Art Gallery. I recently held a personal exhibition at Cayalá Art Gallery of Foundation Rozas Botrán, and an experience of relational art in the University of the Isthmus, at the Museum of Contemporary Art with the Rozas Botran Foundation of Guatemala. I have exhibited 47 times in different Galleries and Museums including BETWEEN CENTURIES, the book of American Contemporary Art by Foundation Rozas Botran and in 2016, I am one of the artists selected in T.I.N.A. Prize, Moscow and won the Exhibition Prize of the IEAA, Art Dubai in TAG Gallery, Brussels, where I exhibited. I was also invited to VALOARTE, Costa Rica for the third time around, and has been my third year exhibiting in Art in May also organized by Foundation Rozas Botran, in Museum of Modern Art in Guatemala. I just exhibited from June to August, in “7 painters Latin American” at the Museums of Casa Santo Domingo, Santo Domingo dell Cerro, in Antigua Guatemala and “Las Trazantes”, in Rocio Quiroa’s Art Gallery.
Also exhibited in 2016 and 2015 in Life Force Center, Chicago; Upstream Gallery New York, NorthernTrust and Espace Expression Gallery, with Latin American Art, Auction & Awards, Miami, where I won the mention of honour for Costa Rica; the 5th triennial of Riga, Latvia, where I won to be part of the collection of the Museum and at the Galerija Arka in Vilnius, Lithuania. Four solo exhibitions in Gallery Cayalá Foundation Rozas Botran in Guatemala; Blow Art Haussmark in San José, Costa Rica and at Colorida Art Gallery, Lisbon, Portugal and another in the Calderon Guardia Museum, in San José, Costa Rica. I am part of the Group of 7 Top artists in Art Flow Art Gallery in San Jose Costa Rica. I also performed a relational experience at the National School of Fine Art of Guatemala in its 94 anniversary. I represented Costa Rica as selected in the Biennial CONTEXTILE 2014 in Guimarães, Portugal and I am represented by Colorida Art Gallery in Lisbon.
