We are hearing that the Mexican restaurant, “Queens and King,” is coming to Harmony within the next two months. They will occupy the space formally run by Phyre in the main clubhouse. They appear to have another location in Kissimmee if you want to see their menus, etc.
Thanks to everyone who participated in the Harmony Christmas Golf Cart Parade. There were two Santa Claus’s (there can be only one!) and the Grinch made an appearance. Congratulations to Kevin Shea for winning the best decorated cart (although there were several great ones)!

MISSED OPEN ENROLLMENT? DON’T PANIC, THERE IS STILL HOPE
Missing the open enrollment period for health insurance can feel overwhelming, but don’t worry—there are still options available in the private market! If you find yourself in this situation, you can explore several types of insurance plans.
First, consider short-term health insurance. These plans can provide temporary coverage, typically lasting from a few months up to a year. They can be a good stopgap solution while you search for a more permanent plan. However, it’s essential to read the fine print, as coverage may be limited and pre-existing conditions might not be covered.
Consider Indemnity Plans as well. These plans offer first dollar benefits when you have a medical expense. For example, if you see the doctor, you could get up to $150 for that visit, which can cover a large portion of the cost. These plans also offer large benefits for hospitalization, wellness visits and other medical procedures.
Another option is catastrophic health insurance. This type of plan is designed for younger individuals who want to protect themselves against high medical costs. Catastrophic plans usually have lower monthly premiums but higher deductibles, meaning you pay out-ofpocket for most routine care. They mainly kick in for serious health issues.
You might also look into health care sharing ministries. While not traditional insurance, these organizations allow members to share medical costs. They often have lower premiums, but be aware they don’t guarantee payment for medical expenses in the same way insurance does. That being said, most people who have these plans love them.
Lastly, don’t forget about supplemental insurance plans. If you already have a basic health plan, you can purchase supplemental coverage (like dental, vision, or critical illness insurance) in the private market. These plans can help cover additional costs that your primary insurance might not include.
