The new Fiat 500 is all the car you ever really need. People have grown since 1957, cars more so, and little cars can do big things: carry four people, go on motorways, comfortably exceed lowest-common- denominator speed limits. As for that accessories catalogue, you can have chrome hubcaps for the steel wheels you might choose instead of the alloys, or various stripes perhaps in Italian- flag colours, a chequered roof, bits of extra chrome, and much more. Plus there’s all the usual Fiat sat-nav/Blue&Me/stereo repertoire and several finance packages featuring the figure five.
