Christy Turlington-Burns founded Every Mother Counts in 2010 after completing her first documentary film, ‘No Woman, No Cry’ about a subject she was passionate about since becoming a mom in 2003. Some of you may be familiar with Christy’s career as a model but for the better part of those years she was also an advocate for preventative health and wellness. EMC informs, engages, and mobilizes new audiences to take action to improve the health and well-being of girls and women worldwide. Together, we can make pregnancy and childbirth safe for all moms.
