ENGINEERING STUDENT PAPERS COMPETITION WEDNESDAY, 24 MARCH 2010 6.45 PM WLH 210 WALTER LIGHT HALL, QUEENS UNIVERSITY OPEN TO ALL UNDERGRADUATE ENGINEERING STUDENTS The Engineering Student Papers Competition, sponsored by the Kingston Chapter of Professional Engineers Ontario, is held annually and is open to undergraduate Engineering Students from Queen’s University and The Royal Military College of Canada as a forum to present the results of a research or design project that they carried out. Single students or small groups may participate. The project is generally the Fourth Year Project of the group, but may also be the results of a summer project or even a totally independent project. The competition on 24 March will take the form of twelve minute oral presentations followed by three minutes of questions by each of six finalist groups. A committee from the Chapter will select the six finalist groups. A schedule of the presentations will be available before the event. Anyone interested is encouraged to attend. Refreshment will be provided. Groups wishing to be considered for the event must submit a completed Summation Form (attached to this e-mail) and a one to two page Abstract of the results of their project.
ABSTRACT are due by 5:00PM, Wednesday, 17 March 2010.
