This course is intended for people who are interested in a broad overview of how the mining business works from a technical perspective. Aspects of Geology, Mining and Mineral Processing will be addressed in the context of the discovery, development and production of mineral deposits. For people with no technical background in geology or mining, the course will provide a basic introduction of the critical technical factors impacting on the success of mining companies. For those with some technical expertise, the course will serve as a refresher and as a way to integrate their specific knowledge into the broader technical aspects of the mining sector.
