Editing Content Using TinyMCE This document describes the process of adding or editing page content using TinyMCE Note: If you are planning to add images to the page then please read about Asset Management before beginning to edit the page content. The content editor that is available in Lenya is called TinyMCE, the manual and examples for TinyMCE can be found at the address: http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/, or from TinyMCE, press the help button

To edit site content: 1. Locate the page that you wish to edit or create a new page 2. To edit the page, choose Edit > Edit with TinyMCE. TinyMCE is the web editor that is available with Queen’s Lenya.

3. Create page content as necessary. a. Text content can be entered in through the editor, with formatting options available through the TinyMCE interface.

b. Images can be inserted through the TinyMCE interface. Since images are assets in the publication, they should be uploaded through the Assets panel within the SITE tab before being inserted into a page.

c. Links can be inserted through the TinyMCE interface. When links are references to other files that exist outside of the publication (e.g. within QShare or an external website), those files are assets in the publication and they should be uploaded through the Assets panel within the SITE tab before being referenced by a link.

4. Save the page using the Save button in the TinyMCE interface. Use the Exit/Cancel button to return to your publication.

5. Submit the page for publishing. a. In the menu, choose Workflow > Submit to manually submit the page for publishing. b. In the menu, choose Workflow > Schedule to schedule a date and time to submit the page for publishing.

6. Once the page is published by a reviewer, the document exists in both the authoring and live site tree of your publication. 7. If you wish to re-edit the page it must be deactivated using Workflow > Deactivate, then edited and re-submitted before it can be republished.
