This is Bessa.
She likes Hide and seek
Catching balls
Climbing trees
She does not like
Sitting still.
It was time to go to Kensington Gardens.
‘Oh dear!’ said her teacher. ‘It’s raining. Let’s paint some pictures.’
Bessa did not want to paint.
She wanted to play.
Bessa looked at the other bears’ paintings.
They were good.
‘Bessa,’ said her teacher, ‘Paint a picture of Kensington Gardens.’
‘It’s sunny!’ said her teacher. ‘Let’s go to Kensington Gardens.’ ‘You can finish your painting when we get back,’
said Bessa’s teacher.
