A MESSAGE FROM THE MAYOR

I’d like to welcome everyone to Winton for the 10th Vision Splendid Outback Film Festival. It’s hard to believe this great event is in its 10th year following its humble beginnings back in 2014. The VSOFF has become a bucket list item for many Australians and we encourage everyone to visit at least once and experience a great Australian film in The Royal Theatre. While in Winton please take the opportunity to soak up the history of this unique place and visit one of our many attractions such as the Waltzing Matilda Centre or Australian Age of Dinosaurs plus many more. You can also take a drive in the country to Dinosaur Stampede or Opalton. There’s so much to do here’ you’ll come for a day and stay for a week.
